CBOSS to Support Interconnect Services in Bangladesh

Three new Bangladesh telecommunications companies opted for solutions from CBOSS.

In February 2008, in a move to break the telecoms market monopoly and encourage competition, the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh announced a tender to provide International Gateway (IGW) and Interсonnect Exchange services. Out of 20+ competitors, 3 companies were granted licenses for IGW services and 2 companies - for Interсonnect Exchange services.

It is noteworthy, that 3 out of 5 winners - M&H Telecom, Bangla Trac and Mir Telecom - opted for CBOSS solutions to support their operations. All three products are based on CBOSSinterConnect and CBOSSmdCDR, as the operators will face similar business tasks - transit traffic switching.
