CBOSS Sponsored Top Telecom Management Golf Tournament

The transnational corporation CBOSS co-organized and sponsored the golf tournament played in Bogor (Indonesia) in July 2007.

The tournament hosted about 90 top-level managers representing largest telecommunications companies of Indonesia. In informal environment all of them received a unique opportunity to communicate and share ideas on telecoms market trends and perspectives.

Holding a golf tournament in Indonesia, one of the most dynamically developing countries in Southeast Asia where CBOSS’ commercial interests are concentrated, is in full compliance with the CBOSS strategy to strengthen and promote the CBOSS brand on the international market. “Southeast Asia was one of the first non-CIS regions we started working in. Today, the Southeast Asia share in the CBOSS business is approaching 15%”, said Andrey Morozov, CBOSS President and CEO, in one of his recent interviews.

The individual stroke play had 10 winners. The awarding ceremony was opened by Arief Hidayat, CAA President Director. The golfers who took last seven places got 21” TVs. The third place finisher won a Suzuki motorcycle. Two top prizes, journeys to Moscow and Dubai, were provided by CBOSS, the major sponsor of the tournament. The awarding ceremony was followed by a gala dinner featuring live music and a dance show.

All the participants agreed that the conference was very well organized and expressed hope that the tournament will become a tradition.

 
 
 

The winners of the tournament have already visited Moscow. They went sightseeing, attended the CBOSS headquarters, and stayed in R.C.Ozernaya, CBOSS’ recreation center located in Tver Oblast among the Upper Volga lakes. To Ozernaya, the prizewinners were delivered by a helicopter belonging to CBOSS-AVIA affiliated by CBOSS Corporation.

R.C. Ozernaya received the VIP guests in the best traditions of Russian hospitality. The program included helicopter trips around Seliger area, boat tours around beautiful Lake Peno, excursions to famous historical and cultural sites of Upper Volga, an open air picnic and folk music concert.

The guests were tremendously satisfied with the courteous treatment and superb quality of services. “Ozernaya is really something special. The runner-ups were invited to CBOSS' wonderful villa in Dubai, providing comfortable accommodation in the lap of luxury. The guests had an interesting social program. They experienced the unique atmosphere of the historic part and of the modern city of Dubai, one of the largest business centers of the world. Moreover, the prizewinners visited the Gold market, artificial lake, and elite golf club. However, the cruise in the coastal waters of the gulf on CBOSS' yacht made probably the most striking impression on the guests.
