CBOSS VAS - WEB 2008. Follow-up

Moscow, May 2008 - The training center of CBOSS Corporation has once again hosted an international workshop, VAS - WEB 2008: New Services and New Opportunities. Traditionally, the seminar proved to be a perfect venue for representatives of telecommunications companies from the CIS, Western Europe, and Russia to discuss the most vital issues of VAS-WEB service development.

Both days of the seminar were full of new information and experience. The presentations, discussions and round tables covered a widest range of VAS and WEB service-related questions.

The most visited presentations were focused on mobile marketing, positioning of CBOSS value-added services, increase of ARPU through niche service provisioning, and such products as CBOSSmcms, CBOSSsmsRouter, CBOSScallScreening, video IVR, and corporate ICS.

New CBOSS products were also presented. Among them were CBOSSsmsForwarding and handset-based applications. A special attention was devoted to the new hi-end HP NonStop-based CBOSS Short Message Service Center. The workshop participants had an opportunity to try the hardware platform of the solution.

With a lot more live product demonstrations, this year's workshop was really different. The visitors could see live operation of such systems as CBOSSsdp, CBOSSics-corporate, CBOSSmdCDR, and Java-based Missed Call. Moreover, CBOSStmn functionality was demonstrated through a remote connection to the instance run by one of CBOSS customers.

Another important topic covered by VAS-WEB 2008 was 3G. In addition to traditional streaming video and video on demand, the participants discussed opportunities of implementation of video blogs, chats, conferencing, RBT, mail boxes and IVRs in 3G as well as GSM and CDMA networks.

VAS-WEB 2008's round tables allowed participants to share experience, express their views and ideas, and ask the most pressing questions regarding CBOSS' new and existing products directly to the developers of CBOSS Corporation. Customer comments and feedbacks will become an integral part of the CBOSS product and service development strategy. In particular, they will be implemented in the coming release of CBOSSasap.

Business negotiations arranged during the workshop resulted in several RFPs on the presented solutions.

Held annually, CBOSS VAS-WEB seminar is a unique opportunity to get all necessary information at first hand.
